Dr. Cindy Magas is the curriculum visionary behind Smart Beginnings Academy. A physician with a deep foundation in pediatric development, she shapes every program, policy, and learning experience at the school.
Dr. Cindy believes that a child who feels safe, seen, and loved will always find their way to learning and that it is the teacher's job to build that bridge, not the child's job to cross it alone. Her approach blends medical insight with genuine compassion, ensuring that every child at Smart Beginnings is met exactly where they are.
Dr. Roy Lingam is a physician and Managing Partner of Smart Beginnings Academy. With a career rooted in evidence-based medicine, he has trained more than 1,000 physicians through the United States Medical Licensing Examination, developing a deep expertise in how people learn and how to build systems that produce lasting results.
Guided by his medical training, Dr. Lingam recognized the first five years of life as the most critical window for a child's cognitive, emotional, and social growth. He joined Smart Beginnings Academy to bring the same intentionality found in the best medical practice to early childhood education combining his clinical knowledge, understanding of child development, and business leadership to build a school families can truly trust.
